10th Annual Emswiller Interprofessional Symposium

Adapting and Advancing: IPE in a Post-Pandemic World

Participate in-person at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Richmond, Virginia or Participate virtually via Zoom

Registration is open for the 2022 Emswiller Interprofessional Symposium hosted by Virginia Commonwealth University. The 10th annual symposium, Adapting and Advancing: IPE in a Post-Pandemic World, will be held as a hybrid event. It will include a live, in-person experience for those who are able to travel to Richmond, VA, and a synchronous, virtual live-streamed experience for those who prefer to participate remotely. All content will be recorded and available to all registered participants following the symposium.

The event will kick off with an interactive plenary session led by Drs. Kathryn Neill and Wendy Ward from  the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). They will share their robust interprofessional education program supporting students, advanced learners, and faculty, highlighting the impact of the COVID pandemic and their predictions for the future of program delivery. Bring your questions and your own experiences to share. The symposium will also feature live and virtual posters, quick burst talks, oral presentations, and interactive workshops that showcase interprofessional work happening across the globe. See the complete schedule here.

The Emswiller Interprofessional Symposium is proud to be an American Interprofessional Health Collaborative (AIHC) Affiliate Conference. As the professional community of the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education, AIHC contributes to better health and improved outcomes by redesigning how the health care workforce is prepared and how care is organized and delivered.  AIHC members work locally, nationally and internationally to influence policy, develop and share best practices and resources, conduct research, mentor and support colleagues and remove barriers to effective action. AIHC is open to individuals who are interested in transforming health in the United States through interprofessional collaboration.
