Clinical Learning and Practice Transformation Team

The CIPE's Clinical Learning and Practice Transformation Team (CLPT) is comprised of at least one faculty representative from each of the CIPE collaborating academic programs. The purpose of the CLPT is to assist with identifying, establishing, and/or developing sites where interprofessional teams of students can be placed. The goal is for students to learn how to work effectively in teams while contributing to the needs of the site to improve patient/client care.

The team's responsibilities include:

  • Meet with potential sites
  • Assess the opportunities for partnership and student team placement
  • Assist with the selection and planning of the experiences
  • Help ensure student participation, supervision and assessment
  • Assist with sites' interprofessional development
